The Badgers have been working hard getting SJN's exhibition ready. The venue is starting to look more like an art gallery now, but there's still plenty to do with just a week to go before the launch events. AB reckons that the photographs look great!

Foxy?

We went to watch 'Dressed to Kill' tonight at The Box (thanks to Raymondo). A great show! Here's AB with 'Eric Carr', whose make-up looks decidedly badger like...

Brilliant!

Foulplay. The first gig of the year at The Brunny, and what a show! Abso-fucking-lutely brilliant! Perhaps repairing to The Corner Bar afterwards wasn't such a good move...

Karaoke...

We went to The Brunny tonight for a Foulplay rehearsal ahead of the gig tomorrow. It was a bit shakey, given the two month hiatus, but the boys will no doubt shine through... The rehearsal was in the secret(!) room upstairs, whilst downstairs the regulars enjoyed Thursday night karaoke. Here's AB belting out 'Badger Beat' with Crewe's answer to Robson and Jerome.

Back to His Roots

Most of you may not know this but The Angry Badgers started life as an electro band, and although it never really fulfilled its potential AB hasn't forgotten where he came from and likes to keep his hand in just in case the call to arms ever comes...

AB is helping Jaydot get the exhibition room ready for the launch (which is now on 7th February). The nice men from Wulvern have been painting the walls and AB wanted to try his paws with a roller..

Meet the Family

AB had a good time at the Cosey Club in Haslington tonight; it was due to be a Foulplay! gig but for personal reasons Lee's brother's band The Generation had to step in, and very good they were too!

It's Brass Monkeys Out There!

After walking in the icy fog to the Box to speak to Ray about the upcoming Blues Festival and then to Square One to talk to Nat about a few upcoming gigs AB has come down with a bit of a sniffle so he's now tucked up in bed; he needs to be fit for tomorrow's The Generation gig at the Cosey Club!

AB is really chuffed! The new, limited edition, Angry Badger badges arrived today. He's proudly showing them off! There's three different designs as you can see.

The badges are very rare and aren't for sale, although if you buy one of us a drink, there's every chance that you might get a badge in return!

The presenters at RedShift Radio were having their photo's taken today. Team Badger were there for a meeting and AB just couldn't resist jumping in front of the camera.

Freezing!

We all went to a Foulplay rehearsal tonight in the Badger Bus. It was in Lee's shed, which is the coldest place ever. The band were OK, considering their Christmas break, and they are looking good for the next gig at The Brunswick on 28th. AB is dancing to try and keep warm...

The Brunny

AB went to The Brunswick today to drop the posters off for what will be Foulplay's first show of 2011 (28th January). The Brunny is a great venue and watering hole and is a real Badger favourite. It looks like AB might be about to have a sneaky pint.....

Driller Killer!!

AB got a new toy today (thanks to Sazo's Dad), ready for the hanging of Dotty's pictures. Don't upset him though; remember, he's an Angry Badger! Grrr.....

Welcome to Hollyoaks Country

AB is always keen to help out, and tonight is no exception; here he is soundchecking for the Green Party fundraising gig at Alexander's in Chester. Dangerous Dayve, Phil Maddocks and The Blue Yellows will be raising money for mother earth, a subject dear to AB's heart (mostly because he lives in a hole in the ground).

Being a Crewe lad AB likes trains, so he's made us drive to the back of an industrial estate in Darlington to see the country's largest brick sculpture...

Here's AB quite literally riding the sliders at the Darlington Arts Centre during Dayve's support slot for Katy Lied. DD, Nick, and Dan put on a great show, but the badger says now it's time to retire for liquid refreshment and watch Katy...

As part of the prep for the Katy Lied show, Nick and Dangerous Dayve played a few songs at Knutsford's Lord Eldon tonight. This was a scheduled show as part of the regular Eldon Acoustic Thursday. The Badgers went to see the team at RedShift Radio today! RedShift Radio is an excellent community radio station based in Crewe. We had a very fruitful meeting with station bosses Dr Gav and Liz (pictured with AB) about our Acoustic event in March.
